I was born in 1961, I live in Campitello di Fassa, in the Dolomites, together with my family. I have two sons, one is a mountain guide, the other is a ski instructor. I am a certified mountain guide since 1982, an instructor of guides, alpine ski instructor and a Federal coach for ISEF.
Being in the mountains has always been my passion, guiding people, teaching them climbing, mountaineering... during the various seasons of the year. I very much enjoy drawing nice curves in fresh powder snow and discover the charm of the frozen waterfalls.
My curriculum and professional mountaineering is made of many ascents and some openings of routes in the Dolomites and the Alps. I climbed in Yosemite Valley (California), Ben Nevis (Scotland) and Norway, Greece, Spain and Sardinia. I did also several high altitude climbs like Mt Denali (Alaska), Ama Dablam (6828m), Cho Oyu (8201m), Manaslu (8163m), Shivling in India (6545m), Cotopaxi and Chimborazo in Ecuador (5897m and 6310m), Patagonia (Argentina).
Feel free to get in touch with me if you are coming in the Dolomites for skiing (alpine, freeride and ski touring), rock climbing, sport climbing and multi pitch climbing. It will be my pleasure to guide you here and let you discover my secret spots.

Explore share were highly responsive and found me a guide very last minute who was excellent. My only comment would be that due to the speed at which we completed the route, the day ended early afternoon so it would have been nice to fill out the rest of the time - it would therefore be helpful to clarify what is included in the price (e.g. am I paying for time such as a full day, or the route etc).

Our guide Bruno was a very experienced mountaineer who made us feel safe throughout the via ferrata. The via feratta Punta Anna itself is an amazing experience and I am so glad we did it. The climb can be quite challenging at times with some climbing technique needed, but even my boyfriend who has vertigo managed to do it. It is absolutely stunning, with many good footholds and handholds so we could rest when needed. Explore-share was also really good at communicating with us before the trip to update us of our change of guides etc.

Loved Etienne!! We would definitely be back to have another adventure. He was very accommodating to our capabilities and the change in weather. He explained techniques to hike better and more efficiently that we plan to use in the future. He also quickly suggested multiple itineraries because it was raining on our first day and would have made the Via Ferratas a bit dangerous. Overall, having him on the team made it so much more fun! Highly recommended!

The ferrata Averau is amazing! Étienne is a lovely and superb guide who knows everything about these mountains. He explained everything and never let me feel insecure for one moment (it was my first time to try this!) It’s beautiful and exhilarating, really, don’t miss it!!

Our excursion landed on a rainy day and Etienne was great at suggesting alternative options in light of the weather. We ended up having a lot of fun despite the rain and having lunch with locals is a great travelling experience in itself! Thanks to Etienne and Fernando for a great day!

Booked 3 days via Ferrata tour with guide Etienne through Explorer-Share. The booking process was easy, online customer service was helpful in checking availabilities and got me connected with the right guide. During the planning phase, Etienne was helpful and responsive. Based on our experiences, he recommend 3 day tour in the Garden of Roses region, and made all lodging arrangement beforehand. The trip was fantastic, definitely the highlight of our trip for both me and my 2 boys (age 9 and 11). Etienne was knowledgeable, and made all the right calls to helps us staying dry when weather turned worse. He communicated extremely well with my young boys, built their confidence and trust, and challenged them the same time. I would recommend Etienne to all my friends and hopefully we can have his services again in our future trips. Thank you

This was my first time in the Dolomites and also my first Via Ferrata experience, and it was incredible! I could not have chosen a nicer guide for the morning, Etienne was really friendly and reassuring, and very patient. What\'s more, as a local to the area he was able to give to tell us a lot about the history of the place, with interesting stories and anecdotes and point out all the different peaks and ranges which made it extra special. As it was my first time, I was very excited, but also a little nervous. I needn\'t have worried though as I was clearly in very safe hands. He had selected a route that was good for beginners and with all the equipment and guidance I could not have felt safer. The climb to the top and the views from the summit of Mount Averau at nearly 9000 feet was just awesome, such a beautiful setting and we were blessed with good weather too :) I would 100% recommend this to anyone thinking about it, just go for it, it\'s not as scary as you think and the views from the top are out of this world! I can\'t wait to go back and perhaps give it a try on my own :)

We had an excellent day doing Via Ferrata guided by Etienne with my 3 sons. We booked our trip very late during our holiday but nevertheless, and due to Etienne\'s flexibility, we were able to close our holiday with a Via Ferrata, which was highest on our wish list, on our last day. It was nice talking and walking with Etienne and I am impressed by the variety of guided tours Etienne is involved. y sons will never forget this day.

Renato is a fantastic, knowledgable, entertaining guide. He navigated through the worst white out I have ever experienced with bat-like senses, managed the differing levels of fitness in our group with humour and a deft touch, and was a great companion at dinner. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him for any tour or guided skiing experience.

Renato is a superb guide who adapts quickly to individual’s capabilities. We did several tours in the areas around Madonna de Campiglio. He is great at finding good snow, on safe terrain. He is also fun to ski with and has a great sense of humour- in English and several other languages, as well as Italian. Renato is one of the top guides in Europe. We recommend him with enthusiasm!

This was our first time doing via ferrata and to be honest I was a bit worried as I\'ve never done something like this before. We\'ve been lead by Ethienne who was very knowledgeable, very kind and very helpful, sharing information and skills to help us do it the right way. The climb was steep, but they do different ones and I can honestly say this was one of the best things I have ever done! I would definately recommend this experience to anyone. We\'ve quickly realised on the day there was no way we could have done this on our own and the support and encouragement and knowledge sharing was everything we have hoped for!

Top of the world, literally!! We enjoyed our experience from start to end to say the least. Etienne was very personable, experienced and tailored our climb for the group. We felt safe and comfortable with our guide as he was a certified mountain guide and knows the Dolomites like the back of his hand. This was the highlight of our trip! Thank you!

Since Renato could not confirm our trip, his son Etienne (who is also a mountain guide) did a perfect job guiding us firstly on Via Ferratas and going all the way up to a pure rock climbing on the last day. We have gained exactly what we\'ve wanted from this trip and thanks to Etienne - even more! Etienne showed himself as a professional guide, who truly knows the mountain, who is able to quickly evaluate his client\'s capabilities and suggest appropriate routes in order to enhance the excitement, and who is willing to share his experience and knowledge to increase your degree of immersion!

Etienne and Gauthier were amazing. We had begun feeling a bit more comfortable on the wall prior to our scheduled excursion and Etienne was able to add a bit of difficulty during the day of our climb in order to challenge us (we asked for this). In addition, we felt safe, comfortable, and welcome the entire day. We were even given recommendations about how to make the most of the rest of our afternoon in the Dolomites once we had finished the climb. If you think this is something you\'d like to do, I recommend you don\'t second guess that feeling. Do it!

Etienne was an amazing host. He tailored the experience to our skill level, as well as changing the location to better suit where we were coming from. He was encouraging, personable and provided helpful tips along the way. The via Ferrata itself was incredible — more than we were expecting and provided the most spectacular views. We loved it!

Ettiene took us on a wonderful trip in the stunning Dolomites. First day was rain and snow, Ettiene planned an alternative program in the First World War tunnels so we didn’t have to walk in the rain all day. The huts were nice and good food. The trip was a bit too challenging for our mother (65) but Ettiene helped her a lot by carrying her bag and securing her with a rope on the steep parts. Via ferratas were super cool, wonderful views. A tip for others: just go because it is great, but expect some serieus walking up is inclusief to get to the via ferratas.
Fantastic 3-day via-ferrata adventure at the Dolomites having Étienne as our 5* guide. Beautiful views, excellent weather and great company. Physical effort and the difficulty of the via-ferrata were challenging but adequate to our level, the mountain refuges were comfortable and the food was good. Overall, highly recommended to clear your mind of the hustle and bustle of the daily rotine.
