Spend 4-days exploring beautiful Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies as I guide you through a traverse of the classic Wapta route during this hut-to-hut splitboard trip!

This intermediate-level splitboarding trip is the perfect opportunity for you to spend 4 days in the backcountry wilderness of Canada.  You will have the chance to explore impressive glaciers and board through some excellent snow along the Continental Divide.  The classic Wapta route is known for being one of the best hut-to-hut routes in North America, with ample opportunities to climb the area’s breathtaking peaks and to make some beautiful turns through pristine snow.  Not to mention, the vistas will be incredible as we snowboard around a serene glacial lake and attempt a summit of the 3,285m peak of Mount Balfour.

We will spend each night at a different mountain hut along the route.  A day-by-day itinerary of the route we will take is outlined below, including the names of the mountain huts we will stop at.  Accommodation and half board at all lodges are included in the price for this trip, as are permit and entrance fees to the National Park.

Book this trip now and I guarantee it will be an incredible 4 days spent in the backcountry wilderness of Canada, as we complete a traverse of the legendary Wapta route!

My guide was Christian from the same company (vs Jeff). I was thrilled with the service, friendliness, knowledge, and professionalism. We went to Sunshine Slab near Banff to sport climb for a half day. We managed to get a lot of memorable climbs in a short amount of time. I would gladly use these guys again.

Jeff was so kind to the kids, he encouraged and motivated our 12 y/o eldest, and was tolerant and patient with our 9 y/o young one. Extremely recommended for families. We had much fun on the Banff cliffs.
