This route was used by Native Americans, loggers, and livestock herders before the Great Smoky Mountains National Park was established and it covers part of the iconic Appalachian trail. On this 4-day trip, we’ll hike this loop trail that will take us to some of the most breathtaking places in the park. Some of these include old growth forests, historic sites, the highest camping site in the Park, waterfalls, and a beautiful swimming hole where we’ll also get the chance to take a dip. Additionally, we might even see some wildlife along the way.
This trip implies several elevation gains and losses. Therefore, we recommend this trip to physically active people, comfortable doing sports for several hours without a break. Of course, we will be there to help and guide you.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!
