Guarding the Spanish southern coast stands the Sierra Nevada mountain range. We will trek this incredible range, the second highest in Western Europe after the Alps, in 4 days.
Stretching 50 kilometers from southwest to northeast, 15 mountains soar beyond the 3,000-meter mark, with the summit of 3,482 meters at the Mulhacén peak. This is the highest mountain in the Iberian Peninsula.
The Mulhacén peak is decorated in legend, having been the alleged burial site of the muslim king of Granada.
We may cover this whole chain of peaks during our 4 days of trekking, as our programme follows closely the highest sections of the massif.
To enjoy the most demanding high mountain traverse in southern Europe, participants are required to have excellent fitness as well as mountaineering experience.
Reserve your place now among the heights of the Iberian peaks in southern Spain. Come with me on this 4-day trek to the stunning Sierra Nevada mountain range.

I try to do things differently, I do not like boxes. I have lived in the corporate world, in a caravan, working as an au pair, a frustrated travel photographer and a Spanish teacher in Denmark. Travel backpacking from Spain to Vietnam for a year and travel the length of Chile on my mountain bike.
Always in love with travel, I have been working for the outdoor industry since 2008 traveling the world in more than 30 countries. I love to guide and share my experience and mountaineering skills with other lovers of remote and isolated destinations, far from crowded mountaineering centers. When I'm not working or in the mountains you can find me playing the Spanish guitar sitting on the porch of my house sharing the sunset with my lovely girlfriend.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
