Enjoy the best of summer with this 3-day all inclusive retreat near Truckee, in Nevada County, California. Join us on a great program for everyone, as no previous experience is required. Go rafting, rock climbing and practice yoga, staying high in the mountains and out of the city heat.

This is a great plan for families, couples and kids from 8 years old. It’s one of the best ways to make the most out of a short summer trip to the Sierra. Beautiful views, water fun, exciting white granite climbing and relaxing daily yoga sessions await you here!

During this 3-day retreat you will be staying in a shared lodge at the base of Sugar Bowl Resort, situated along the Donner Pass of the Sierra Nevada. We willl provide everything you need to camp out and enjoy the great environment, including delicious meals made with fresh ingredients around the campfire.

Our experienced guides will take you on guided rock climbing day in the Donner Summit, a half-day guided rafting tour in the Truckee River (Class III) and daily yoga sessions. You can check the day-by-day itinerary below. We will provide you with the necessary equipment for climbing and rafting.

Day 1: Friday

4 PM: Arrive anytime
6 PM: Welcome and dinner at lodge
8 PM: Intention setting bonfire and dedication

Day 2: Saturday

8-9 AM: Breakfast at lodge
9-10 AM: Yoga
10 AM – 12 PM: Introduction to climbing equipment and fitting, Belay instruction and practice
12 -1 PM: Lunch at lodge
1 PM: Transportation to rafting
1:30 – 5:30 PM: Guided whitewater rafting trip on Truckee River
6 PM: Return to lodge
7 PM: Dinner at lodge

Day 3: Sunday

8-9 AM: Breakfast at lodge
9-10 AM: Yoga
10:30 AM – 4 PM: Guided Rock Climbing on Donner Summit, pack lunch included

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
