Description

Are you planning on visiting Pakistan, and want to explore the country’s beautiful Himalayan Plateau? If so, you will love this 6-day trekking adventure along the sensational Banak Pass (4,964m).

This trip begins in Skardu, where you will get some time to explore the amazing Shigar Valley. On the following day, we will venture from Skardu to Kachura then on to Stakchun. From there, we will then make our way to the Shepherds’ Settlement via the Alampir Pass.

From the Shepherds’ Settlement, we will trek to the base camp of the Banak Pass. On the following day, we will cross the pass before reaching some beautiful pastures, where we will spend the night.

Finally, at the end of the trip, from the pastures, we will visit Astore then make our way to either Gilgit or Chilas before returning to Skardu. There is also an option to visit the Hunza Valley during this trip as well.

Trekking along the Banak Pass can be tough at times. As a result, participants on this trip should have prior trekking experience in similar terrain. You should also be in good physical condition.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
