Description

In spite of its small size, there is enough to see and do in Nepal to fill a lifetime-long itinerary!

Unfortunately, few of us have that long to explore this incredible country. For those on a tight schedule, our 6-day Kathmandu and Pokhara tour may be just the thing!

Perfect for families and small children, this tour takes you on a journey through two of Nepal's most iconic cities, seeing some of their most important sites and visiting other lesser known ones too.

The fun begins after you arrive at  Tribhuvan International Airport and transfer to your hotel. The following day, we will head out and explore Kathmandu, the Nepalese capital.

We will see all of the city's UNESCO World Heritage sites and visit a few others as well. (See itinerary below for more details.)

The next day, we will transfer to Pokhara, an enchanting city nestled into a valley at the foot of the Himalayas.

During the dry season, making the six hour drive is the best way to get here, allowing us to see as much of the incredible countryside as we can. In the monsoon season, it is better to make the 25 minute flight, as the highways are frequently in poor conditions.

In Pokhara, we will spend our first day walking on the shores of Fewa Lake.

The following day, we will wake up nice and early in order to see the sunrise over some of the most iconic peaks in the Himalayas, from Sarangkot. We'll spend the rest of the day exploring various other nearby points of interest.

Our trip begins to wind to an end as we return to Kathmandu for one last day before we take you to the airport the following day and we say our goodbyes.

So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettable 6-day Kathmandu and Pokhara hiking and sightseeing tour!

We had an amazing Mardi Himal trek. We booked last minute and we were dealt with promptly and professionally. The trek was fully customisable including a stay in a lovely hotel and bus rides to and from Kathmandu. Our guide Amir was awesome and made our trek everything we wanted. Thank you so much!
