Pedal along the great glacial valleys of northern Neuquen where the snowmelt rivers flow and wind around high mountains.
Beginning on our bikes we cycle along the Neuquen River, which is fed by numerous streams that trickle through the lower Andes.
We’ll continue towards the amazing Varvarco Ocampo Ponds, which will be the highest point on our trip. From this area we can see the incredible Domuyo Volcano, which stretches to 4,702 meters.
Domuyo is the highest mountain in Patagonia, and sometimes called the Roof of Patagonia. Its slopes contain many hot springs and spurts of geysers.
As we reach the volcano the roads become narrower until they eventually disappear and transform, as we’ll be pedalling on ancient paths.
Across long zigzagged paths rolling up and down, we will pass two great canyons. One of which is Atreuco, surrounded of stunning rock formations.
On each night we’ll experience the enjoyment of the heated fire, flickering upwards toward the star-packed sky.
