Would you like to experience some easy mountain biking in a breathtaking alpine spot? Then join us for a stunning half-day outing in Bariloche, let’s ride from Lago Gutierrez to Colonia Suiza together!
The Argentinian Patagonia is a premium destination for outdoor adventures. Bariloche, in Rio Negro, is the most popular city of the region, and a perfect starting point for mountaineering, hiking and mountain bike adventures!
On this half-day mountain bike program, we will explore a fabulous route from Lago Gutierrez, just 15km’s away from Bariloche, to Colonia Suiza. As we ride on uncrowded trails, we will cross amazing spots such as Casa de Piedra Stream, before reaching Colonia Suiza, the first European settlement in the area.
Please note that this trip is suitable for beginners, but requires a good fitness level. You should be prepared for a 4-hour ride in which we will cover a total distance of 22kms.

I live in the city of Bariloche, Argentina-Northern Patagonia, since 2001, and as a guide of Trekking and Mountain Bike since 2009. In summer we travel different bicycle circuits of all levels. From here we travel the most incredible circuits in mountain bike. We make trips since 2009, in Patagonia Argentina and in Chile. Najuel was awesome. Perfect family trip for our 10,12,14 year old kids. December is warm but there are many shady parts and opportunity to feel fresh at the river crossings. Lunch in a traditional home was certainly a highlight. Such a good day. I will remember forever. Highly recommend. There is an option to do more extreme riding if you are super fit and have moderate mt bike skills. We chose not to do this in case our 10 year old found it too difficult. My best day in Argentina so far after 2.5 weeks of travel.
