Begin your journey with a flight or scenic drive along the Karakoram Highway to Skardu. From there, a thrilling jeep ride to Askoli leads to a two-week trek over the Gondogoro La Pass (5,500m), crossing into the beauRful Hushe Valley. OpRonal rest days at Concordia bring you close to iconic peaks like K-2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum.

    Itinerary

    Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad

    Upon arrival at Islamabad airport, you'll be greeted and transferred to your hotel. Take some time to relax after your journey. Overnight stay at a comfortable hotel in Islamabad.

    Day 2: Islamabad to Skardu

    • Catch an early morning flight to Skardu (weather dependent). • If the flight is canceled due to weather conditions, we'll depart by road via the Karakoram Highway, with an overnight stay in Chilas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel in Skardu for a restful overnight stay.

    Day 3: Skardu to Askoli

    After breakfast, we will board jeeps for a full-day ride along a scenic and winding jeep trail to Askoli, the last inhabited village on our route toward the majestic Great Glaciers. Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 4: Askole to Jhula

    After breakfast, we will begin our trek from Askole, leaving behind the last inhabited village. From here on, we will rely on our local support team to carry food and equipment. We will trek towards the Dumurdo River and cross it at Jhula, where a wooden bridge now replaces the traditional wire rope bridge (previously supported by a wooden basket). Overnight stay in tents.

    Day 5: Jhula to Paiju

    After breakfast, we will continue our trek along the Braldu River, making our way to Paiju. This green oasis lies under the towering Paiju Peak (6611m), offering breathtaking scenery along the way. Overnight stay in tents at Paiju.

    Day 6: Rest Day at Paiju

    Today will be a rest and acclima<za<on day at Paiju. This gives us time to relax, enjoy the stunning scenery, and prepare for the upcoming trek towards the Baltoro Glacier. • Overnight: Tent camping at Paiju.

    Day 7: Paiju to Urdukas / Khubursae

    After an early breakfast, we will begin our trek along the Baltoro Glacier. The path offers magnificent views of Trango Towers and Cathedral Peaks as we make our way towards Urdukas or Khubursae, depending on our pace and weather conditions. • Trekking DuraAon: 6-7 hours • Overnight: Tent camping at Urdukas or Khubursae.

    Day 8: Urdukas to Goro I / Goro II

    After breakfast, we will trek across the icy expanse of the Baltoro Glacier, surrounded by majestic peaks, including Masherbrum and Muztagh Tower. This will be a long, challenging day as we navigate through the glacier's rugged terrain. • Trekking DuraAon: 7-8 hours • Overnight: Tent camping at Goro I or Goro II, depending on the pace and weather conditions.

    Day 9: Goro II to Concordia

    After an early breakfast, we will con<nue trekking along the Baltoro Glacier to reach the iconic Concordia, a breathtaking junction where the Baltoro, Abruzzi, and Godwin Austin glaciers meet. This area offers spectacular views of some of the world's highest peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum IV. • Trekking DuraAon: 5-6 hours • AlAtude: 4,000 meters • Overnight: Tent camping at Concordia, surrounded by awe-inspiring mountain vistas.

    Day 10: Rest Day at Concordia

    Members have the option to take a day trip to K2 Base Camp, one of the most iconic trekking destinations in the world. After an early breakfast, begin the 4-hour hike up to the base camp, where you'll see memorials dedicated to climbers who have adempted the mighty K2. Enjoy a packed lunch at the base camp, take in the awe-inspiring views of K2, and then hike back to Concordia, a 3-hour descent. • Trekking DuraAon: 4 hours up, 3 hours down • AlAtude at K2 Base Camp: 5,150 meters • Overnight: Tent camping at Concordia.

    Day 11: Concordia to Ali Camp

    After an early breakfast, we will leave Concordia and continue our trek towards Ali Camp. The route takes us along the Vigne Glacier, surrounded by breathtaking views of towering peaks. This day involves trekking over icy and rocky terrain, requiring a steady pace and careful footing. • Trekking DuraAon: 5–6 hours • AlAtude at Ali Camp: 5,010 meters • Overnight: Tent camping at Ali Camp.

    Day 12: Ali Camp - Cross Gondogoro Pass – Khuspang

    We will begin the trek as early as 2 or 3 AM, after a quick breakfast, to start our ascent to the Gondogoro La Pass (5,650 meters). The early morning climb will allow us to reach the top of the pass by sunrise. From the summit, you’ll witness a spectacular panoramic view of the world’s tallest peaks, including K2, Broad Peak, and Gasherbrum I & II, along with numerous other 7,000-meter peaks. After taking in the views, we will begin the steep descent towards the Khuspang campsite, where we'll rest for the night. • Trekking DuraAon: 10–12 hours • AlAtude at Gondogoro Pass: 5,650 meters • Overnight: Tent camping at Khuspang.

    Day 13: Khuspang to Shaicho

    After a short and easy walk from Khuspang, we will enter the glacier area. Here, we will navigate our way across moving boulders and ice, eventually making our way to the camping site at Shaicho. This trek allows us to experience the stunning glacial landscapes. • Trekking DuraAon: 6–7 hours • Grade: Easy • AlAtude at Shaicho: 3,800 meters • Overnight: Tent camping at Shaicho.

    Day 14: Shaicho to Hushe

    After breakfast, we will trek along the Hushe River on an easy and scenic path. The trail will lead us through picturesque landscapes until we reach the charming Hushe village, where we will sedle in for the night. This is the final stage of our journey, providing a peaceful end to the trek with views of the surrounding mountains and valley. • Trekking DuraAon: 5–6 hours • Grade: Easy • Overnight: Stay in Hushe village.

    Day 15: Hushe to Skardu

    After breakfast, we will embark on jeeps for a scenic full-day ride along a winding jeep road back to Skardu. The journey offers stunning views of valleys and rugged mountain landscapes. Upon arrival in Skardu, we will transfer to the hotel and check in for a comfortable stay. • Travel DuraAon: 6–7 hours by jeep • Overnight: Stay in hotel at Skardu.

    Day 16: Skardu to Islamabad

    After breakfast, we will depart for Skardu Airport to fly for Islamabad. Overnight: Stay in hotel at Islamabad.

    Day 17: Islamabad to Flight Out

    After breakfast, transfer to Islamabad InternaAonal Airport for your return flight back home. • End of Tour
