Join me on a spectacular 5-day ski tour around Bessanese, in Italy. This wild and isolated area, located between the Italy and France border, is ideal for ski mountainering.

Bessanese (3594m) is a beautiful mountain of the Graian Alps, near the towns of Balme, in the Piedmont region in Italy, and Bessans, France.  Most famous on its Italian side, the mountain lies about 30 km north of Turin, and it is one of the highest point of the Valli di Lanzo.

We will meet in the small comune of Balme, about 45 kilometres northwest of the city of Turin. During the following days, we will climb peaks like Punta Adami (3168m), Punta Maria (3336m), **Rossa Peak (**2910m) and Collerin Pass (3200m), enjoying amazing descents. Please note this is a tour for skiers of advanced level, physically fit.

We will be staying in different mountain huts every day, like the Città di Ciriè Hut, the Gastaldi and the Averole Hut. You can check the day-by-day itinerary below.

Mountain Guide

I have been working as a mountain guide for more than ten years, and I still love my job very much! The great mountains of the Alps are my favorite playground: Mont Blanc, Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Gran Paradiso are my favorite destinations.

Great summer ascents and magnificent ski mountaineering tours in winter and spring.

I was looking for a local guide for a hike I was planning and came across Explore-Share. They seemed to have good reviews and so decided to give them a try. The experience was very positive and completely happy with their service. I will be using them again for next trip.

Easy to set up and find the perfect trip. Informative site that is easy to use. Guides are all great to work with and communicate all arrangements needed. As simple as can be!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
