Description

Would you like to enjoy some exciting multi-pitch rock climbing in beautiful British Columbia?

There is a wide assortment of different places you can enjoy rock climbing in BC. And in the Nelson – Castlegar areas you can rest assured we will find the right one for you.

The focus of this trip will be multi-pitch rock climbing routes, which are more challenging than single-pitch routes. However, we will see to it that you are properly and safely guided the entire time. You also do not need any previous climbing experience on this trip, but it is an asset if you do have it because the routes we choose will be based on your abilities.

There are an abundance of different rock sites to choose from on this trip. Some examples include the following.

  • Brilliant Bluff

  • Kinnard Bluffs

  • Koch Creek Slabs

  • Cougars Creek Bluffs

  • The Skydome in the Slocan Valley

  • Ymir Bluffs

Along with those examples there are also the Megawatts near Brilliant Dam, which has 8 pitches, and the Whitewater Rocks, which has 4-8 pitches.

All of those available options are amazing climbs. Moreover during the climbs you will also get to enjoy the kind of spectacular scenery that only the interior of British Columbia can offer.

The adventure will begin at approximately 8:00 am and conclude at approximately 5:00 pm. Hence giving you an entire day to enjoy whichever beautiful rock climbing area and wall you decide upon.

More info

Participants should bring the following items with them: Lunch, snacks, 1L water bottle, cool weather clothing such as fleece jacket, long johns, warm hat, sun screen, sunglasses, ball cap, rain/wind shell, nylon, lightweight pants, hiking boots or running shoes for the hike, pocket knife and a camera because the views are great.
