Description

There are a number of amazing peaks to climb in the beautiful Sierra Nevada Mountains of Spain. And, on this 2-day adventure I would like to guide you to the summit of the Mulhacen Peak (3,482m). Moreover, I would like to guide you to the top of the mountain during the winter season!

Located in the Sierra Nevada National Park, the Mulhacen peak is a great mountain to climb. The trek to the top is not too difficult. As a result, you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy this ascent. However, you should be in good physical condition.

On the first day of the trip, from Capileira, we will take a transfer to Hoya del Portillo (2,150m). After that, we will go to Puerto Molina then the Cascajar Negro before reaching the Refugio Poqueira (2,500m), where we will spend the night.

On the second day of the trip, from the refuge, we will venture to the Mulhacen River Valley. After that, we will go to the Vivac de la Caldera (3,100m) before continuing on to the summit of Mulhacen. Afterwards, we will return to the Refugio Poqueira and then take a transfer back to Capileira.

For groups of 5 to 9 people, the price is 135 Euros per person.

For groups of 10 or more people, the price is 105 Euros per person.

There is an additional 20 Euros charge for non-federated.

Along with the guiding fee, the price also includes half-board accommodation in the Refugio Poqueira, common material, including compass, map, GPS, first aid kit, etc, safety equipment and free transfer From Granada to the Hoya del Portillo and back to Granada.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland.
