Description

Would you like to enjoy a trip that combines mountain climbing with river rafting? If so, you’ll love this 3-day, 2-night adventure in Borneo that combines an ascent of the Kinabalu peak (4,095) and some thrilling rafting on the Kiulu River.

Our trip will begin when we pick you up from your hotel lobby at 8:30 am. After that, we will go to the Kiulu River. The trip will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once there, we will have a short safety briefing and then begin rafting at approximately 10:30 am. The ride will last for approximately 2 hours. We will then have a delicious barbecue lunch and then go to the Kinabalu Park, where we will check into a hostel for the night.

On the second day of the trip, we will enjoy breakfast and then go to the Power Station. From there, we will climb for approximately 4 hours to Laban Rate, where we will check into a guesthouse, where we will spend the night.

On the final day of the trip, we will wake up at 2:00 am, and by torchlight, make our way to the summit of Kinabalu. The climb will take approximately 3 hours. After you’ve enjoyed the sunrise and some stunning views, we will descend back to the guesthouse for breakfast and then make our way back to the Power Station and transfer to the park and then your hotel.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
