Climbing Mt. Humphreys, Technical route to the summit in the Sierra Nevada (2 days)

During this 2-day adventure, we would like to guide you on a technical climbing journey to the summit of the beautiful Mount Humphreys (13,992 feet).

Located in the Sierra Nevada Mountains in California, west of Bishop, Mount Humphreys is stunning in every way. And, whether it’s during the climb, or at the summit, the views you will get to enjoy are truly spectacular. This mountain absolutely dominates the skyline from Paiute Pass and we have no doubt you’ll be in a constant state awe throughout this expedition.

The route we will be taking is the easier, regular route. A class 4 route, you will get to enjoy the climb and the views, without having to worry about being a climbing expert. However, it is important that participants on this trip have basic rope skills, as well as solid rock climbing skills. You should also know how to tie proper knots and how to belay. If you have previous experience climbing at altitude, that is also a great advantage. Finally, participants on this trip must be in excellent physical condition.
