Canada is a large and diverse country with a plethora of incredible rock climbing opportunities. Over the course of two weeks together, our goal will be to climb in as many of them as we can!
After meeting up at a predetermined location, the fun begins. We will drive out to Canmore and spend the first three days of our trip enjoying quality sport climbing on limestone while surrounded by the natural splendor of the Canadian Rocky Mountains.
From here, we will head north a couple of hours to Lake Louise, one of North America’s most iconic lakes. Here, we will enjoy spectacular views of the Victoria Glacier and climb incredible quartzite, there’s nothing quite like it.
After a rest day in which we drive well into the heart of British Columbia, we will find ourselves at the Skaha Bluffs. This remote part of BC is truly a climber’s paradise with more than 1,000 different interesting and diverse routes to try out.
After three days here, we will head on to Squamish, just north of Vancouver. Home to the excellent multi-pitches of the Chief as well as innumerable other climbing and bouldering options, there are few better places to finish off the trip.
So what are you waiting for? Book now for this unforgettable 14-day rock climbing expedition across the best spots in western Canada!

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
Stay up-to-date on the best adventures.
