Description

To be able to whitewater raft on a river only 30 minutes from a wonderful city like Boston is an incredible opportunity. And on this half-day trip, that is exactly what we are offering. The river is the Concord, and it is just a short trip north of Boston. It is so close you will be able to take the commuter train to the starting point!

On the Concord river, you will get to enjoy it’s exciting and challenging rapids on a trip you will never forget. And the urban scenery you will get to see will give it a unique feel compared to other rafting excursions.

Taking place over the spring season, this rafting trip on the Concord river is definitely a rush. There are several class III and class IV rapids on the river. Some examples of those rapids include the Twister Sister, the Three Beauties and the Middlesex Dam. All of these rapids are great fun, and we know you’ll have a great time on them!

Because of the class level of the rapids you’ll encounter on this trip, the minimum age to participate is fourteen. You should also be able to swim aggressively, while wearing a flotation device in rough water.

This trip last approximately 3 hours, so it is a small time investment. Hence making it the perfect addition to a Boston vacation.

So if you are looking to add some outdoor excitement to your day in New England, then send us a request and join us on this rafting adventure on the Concord River. The thrills will come as swiftly as the whitewater!

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
