During the winter, the Maritime Alps area becomes the perfect place to enjoy a white landscape and winter sports. Explore and discover a snowy desert on this snowshoeing tour through the Préalpes d’Azur Regional Natural Park.
The Préalpes d’Azur is a regional natural park located in the Maritime Alps department, in southern France. Across the park, you can admire different kinds of landscapes, due to the double influence of mountain and Mediterranean weather.
Between the Andon and Caille french communities, inside the Préalpes d’Azur Regional Natural Park, you can also find the amazing l’Audibergue Mountain. From its highest peak (1,642 meters), we will admire the most wonderful view, including the bay of Cannes, the Esterel Massif, the bay of Frejus and Saint Tropez at the French Riviera and the Hyères Islands.
Also, you will enjoy the view of several snow-covered peaks from the Préalps d’Azur and the Verdon Natural Park. On this tour, we will go through natural and wild slopes, away from the ski lifts.

I booked a tour with Fabrice on late May, definitely the highlight of my holiday, we went on a hike around Casterino It was a relaxed hike with great sights of mountain forests and lakes, I got to see some of the local fauna and flora of the park, ibex, marmots, chamois, although not as much as they would be in the area, possibly because of the wolfs (we saw some footprints). Overall it is a great way to see the surroundings. I would definitely recommend Fabrice as a guide for your next hike!
