Would you like to take part of an outing in the starlight and discover a beautiful natural environment? Then this snowshoeing program around Crête des Terres Rouges in Mercantour is perfect for you. Follow me on this nighttime program and live an unforgettable moment.

Situated in the commune of Saint-Étienne-de-Tinée, in the Alpes-Maritimes department, Crête des Terres Rouges is a fantastic place to explore and discover beautiful flora and fauna.

On this hike, we’ll cross the Gordolasque, a mountain river that flows to the Vésubie. Then, we’ll continue snowshoeing across a larch forest and enjoy the view of the sky at twilight. Afterwards, we’ll find a place to settle and share dinner by the fire. It will be a fantastic experience! Our hike will continue to Mont Capelet Inférieur and Supérieur and then we’ll keep snowshoeing until the end of the trip under the moonlight.

I booked a tour with Fabrice on late May, definitely the highlight of my holiday, we went on a hike around Casterino It was a relaxed hike with great sights of mountain forests and lakes, I got to see some of the local fauna and flora of the park, ibex, marmots, chamois, although not as much as they would be in the area, possibly because of the wolfs (we saw some footprints). Overall it is a great way to see the surroundings. I would definitely recommend Fabrice as a guide for your next hike!
