Alps

4 Days

Jan - May, Dec

Description

I want to invite you to a unique experience in the Dolomites, in Eastern Alps. A 4-day ski touring course to learn or improve the most important ski skills.

This ski touring course is a perfect combination between technique and enjoyment, with a stunning landscape as background. Moreover, while you are acquiring new ski knowledge you’ll be able to put them into practice at the same time. That’s why I have no doubts it will be an enriching experience for you.

Please find here below the content of the Dolomite ski touring course:

  • How to use the kit ARTVA in case of avalanche

  • Uphill-Downhill skiing techniques

The level of the course will depend on your own previous experience, knowledge and physical condition. I can offer a ski touring course for each level: introductory, intermediate and advanced.

To participate in this 4-day course in the Dolomites, you will need a kit ARTVA. It can be rented in the place as well as ski touring equipment, crampons and ice axe.

Although accommodation and meals are not included in the price, I can suggest some comfortable lodge where to spend the nights. Besides that, I will help you with the booking process of it. All I need is you to get in touch with me so that we can discuss this item and any other one you want.

Feel free to contact me now and ask me all the questions. The course will take place from mid December till May. Once you get in touch with me I can help you to define the best learning option according to your wishes and available time.

It’s a honor for me to teach and convey my passion for ski touring and for this beautiful region in the eastern Alps. I’ll be waiting your contact!

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

3 stars Marmolada is due to weatherconditions. Lack of new snow. Enrico found good snow in parts of the glacier. 5 stars to him. Before we went up to the glacier, Enrico took us for a testride offpiste to see if we would be able to ski difficult conditions. Very good.

To be honest we are very disappointed. We signed up for the day of free ride on Marmolada but Enrico wisely said the snow conditions were not conducive for doing that. He offered to do other activities (specifically ski touring) but that is not what we paid for or signed up for, and did not want to do that. Since he offered “alternative activities” it appears we lose 100% of the cost per Explore-Share policy. This is extremely unfair. Enrico seemed like a good guy and probably a very good guide, but I would NOT recommend Explore Share to anyone! Terrible experience for an expensive day.

Geremia was great to have for my first time ice climbing. He went over all the basics and gave me tips on my climbing that really helped out. All of this in a beautiful location! Highly recommended!

Enrico was extremely knowledgeable of the area and was able to put us in great snow despite the lack of snowfall over the past few weeks. Wonderful day!
