Dolomites, Italy, Guided Off-Piste Snowboarding

What a fantastic experience from booking through climbing. Our guide, Robert, was even kind enough to take excellent pictures of us and send them along with superb recommendations of where to eat after. I had a lot of questions leading up to the tour, and the responses I got were always super helpful and timely. This was especially helpful as someone from the states who had not visited the Dolomites before. The climbing route was very fun, and the views were just unbelievable. I’m looking forward to planning a whole other trip just to climb the other route we were considering for the day.

Fun, kind and knowledgeable guides

Conditions were difficult and made the choice of where to go limited. The last expedition was too steep for us personally but choice of area was reduced by snow conditions. Paulo was patient and helpful and we LOVED the Dolomites

Bernard was not able to guide us but arranged for a capable and friendly replacement Names Paolo. Snow conditions directed that off piste skiing that we hoped to do would not be safe or enjoyable. Paolo therefor helped us get to and see off the main routes part of the southern Dolomites and ski the Marmolata glacier (which is lift serviced). He was very patient and safety conscious in guiding us down the glacier a total white out. We enjoyed his company although we were a bit challenged in communications due to his at times limited English and the weather conditions.

Great guide who coped well with one of our party being ill. Paused the tour and arranged taxi transfer back to the hotel then continued to complete the Sellaronda. Great day despite the unfortunate illness and consequent delay.

Patrick was an excellent host. He was in touch beforehand to check our competence levels and discuss itineraries. He checked out the conditions on the options and made an excellent plan. The two descents we made were amazing given the difficult conditions. Highly recommended. Not the sorts of places you want to go without a local expert. Couloir di San Anton and Val de Mesdi. One hell of a day!!

How is possible to turn the worst snow conditions into one of the best skiing days ever? Renato Bernard is your answer. A brilliant day with a brilliant guide! We were a skier and a snowboarder, and one the first run he testet our skills and then laid out a full day of perfect, challenging runs. I would do this again and again…

My guide Paolo was fantastic. He quickly ascertained my skill and fitness level and catered our day appropriately. He was very safe while also being fun. I very much enjoyed my time with Paolo and hope to do another tour with him soon.

Renato was the best guide! I’d recommend him to anyone that loves adventure.

The trip was exactly what we were looking for: varied terrain, diverse huts, and local knowledge. Renato was a fantastic guide and we thoroughly enjoyed the 4 days spent with him. Very much looking forward to the next trip with him !

My assigned guide was Robert Cecco, one of the funniest and awesome trips I've had in my life. The weather was not good in Val di Fassa (too warm and risky) so Robert suggested we moved to Colfosco, and everything was awesome there, more than 100 meters of ice climbing in each day, the guide was super friendly and easy to reach at all times he even helped me on solving a problem with my rental car. The adventure was intense physically and mentally like I was searching. Definitely more than I expected.

Renato was a superb guide who we were lucky to have. I have given 4 * for the overall tour as I would have wanted a local guide in an ideal world. Explore share provided a good service but ideally might have helped a little more at the early stages of planning where I was struggling to get information about the tour details.
