Donon (Vosges) guided snowshoeing day tour

Mont Donon is the highest peak in the northern Vosges. It is 1009 meters high, and can be found at the border between the provinces of Alsace and Lorraine. Join me for a snowshoeing day in this unique destination!

Since prehistoric times, a sacred character has been attributed to Donon. And this distinctiveness will stay forever. It is away from everything, this promoting the development of legends, mixing myth and reality. The Romans, mysteriously seduced, devote the site to Mercury.

So I guess it is clear that this is a place like no other for snowshoeing. If the destination has already so many interesting features, imagine it covered in snow. And furthermore, picture yourself exploring the area with the calmness that snowshoeing provides. It will be an unforgettable experience!

We will have lunch in a lodge, or alternatively stop for a picnic. In total we will traverse 5.5 kilometers and ascend 380 meters.
