Description

The Ellmauer Tor/Hintere Goinger Halt is a fantastic place for exciting splitboarding.

On this full day adventure, I would like to guide you for a great day of splitboarding. Surrounded by the Austrian Alps, and the Wilder Kaiser massif, you will surely be in a constant state of awe. And the route you will get to take through the Kubelkar to the top of the Ellmauer Tor/Hintere Goinger Halt is nothing short of amazing.

The trip will begin at the parking lot at the Wochenbrunner Alm. From there, we will begin by going along the Forststrasse to the Gaudeamushütte (1,270m). After that, you will get to enjoy the amazing powder of the Kubelkar. This area will get steeper the higher we get. However, I will see to it that you are safe and secure the entire time. At the conclusion of this portion of the trip you will reach the Ellmauer Tor. After you have enjoyed the views, we will then proceed to the Hintere Goinger Halt summit, where you will get to enjoy even more great views.

This trip can be strenuous at points. As a result, participants should have some previous splitboarding experience. They should also be in good physical condition.
