Join me on this amazing day-long hike in the Foret de Soignes and discover a different side of Brussels!
Both if you are from the city or in Brussels for a few days, this 5-6 hour walk across the Foret de Soignes is an experience not to be missed. Located on the southeast edge of Brussels, this 4,500-hectare forest is a favorite among locals and visitors alike.
Majestic beeches, ponds lost in the morning mist, trails that will make you feel like if you were in a fairy-tale… the forest is a real delight!
We will meet at the Hermann Debroux Metro Station (8 stops from Montgomery), from where we will start our walk. The hike will take between 5 and 6 hours. Halfway through, we will arrive to the magnificent Parc de Tervuren and its wonderful Arboretum. If you are interested, we can even visit the Royal Museum for Central Africa, located in the park, which has just been renovated.
The hike is open to everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. If there are children in the group or if you don’t feel like doing a day-long hike, I can also make the itinerary shorter. And if you are bringing the baby along, I can choose paths that are accessible for strollers. There is also the option of taking the tram from the Parc de Tervuren back to our starting point at the Hermann Debroux Metro Station.
This tour can be done year round, although the Spring is the best period. Please remember to bring an extra layer during the winter, rain protection and trekking shoes (preferably waterproof) are also required. And don´t forget your picnic lunch!

A tireless curiosity and a passionate interest for natural heritage led me to train as a Nature Guide with the Cercle des Naturalistes de Belgique. After that, I followed in the footsteps of more experienced guides and became a Mountain Leader, certified by the Belgian Alpine Club.
During our tours, I´ll share with you my knowledge about the nature and culture of the different areas we visit and will help you discover the joys of walking.
Pleasure, simplicity, respect and trust are the four ingredients of my personal philosophy. Join me and discover the most beautiful trails in Belgium.

I had a very good experience booking the hike through Explore-Share. Communication with the team was prompt and clear and the booking process was seamless. The trip itself was also just perfect. Uroš was a fantastic guide, highly skilled and talented. The hike felt safe at all times, even on more exposed routes, thanks to him. He was always up to date on the weather forecast and planned the days around it, checked the conditions on the route ahead of me, if needed, discussed and adapted the routes to my level and always made sure I was safe and comfortable. I highly recommend him, as well as Explore-Share.

Explore Share is a really usefull website that has a great overview of reviewed guides for a (in our case) hiking/climbing trip. During the booking I got assigned an assistent for Explore Share that helped solve questions that I might have. Great customer service, and I will come back again.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned a lot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

It's the 2nd time we have been booking with Explore-Share. The booking was super easy and both Explore-Share and the guide were fast in their responses. We did rafting as a family with 3 kids for the first time in Slovenia. The guide (José) was super nice. He was doing everything he could to make everyone at ease with rafting (he gave clear explanations), have a great team spirit (we were joined by 2 other girls) and have a good time. We had lots of fun and the nature there is so beautiful. Thank you Explore-share and Soca splash for the great afternoon! I would recommend this activity to anyone without a doubt. My kids immediately told me they want to do rafting again soon !"
