Loma del Diablo is an area located near the mystical town of El Chaltén, in the province of Santa Cruz. This region is known for its incredible scenery, dominated by the beautifully shaped Mount Fitz Roy and full of hiking paths and rock climbing spots.

In winter it becomes a snowboarding backcountry paradise! Among the many great spots in the area, Loma del Diablo is known for its wide-open terrain with lots of powder snow and no glaciers, which makes it accessible for every snowboarding level.

Another great feature of this program is that we’ll spend a short amount of time climbing to find lots of long slopes to ride down. Both snowboarders and skiers are welcome to enjoy this magnificent experience.

Mountain Guide

UIAGM/IFMGA Mountain Guide from Argentina

Based in El Chaltén, south Patagonia, since 2000. I was the first guide to complete the AAGM (Argentine Mountain Guides Association) complete training platform.

I did the first Argentinean guided ascent of Mt. Fitz Roy via Supercolouir route (la Supercanaleta). I have guided Aguja Guillaumet more than 25 times. I also guided Aconcagua, Alpamayo (Peru), Matterhorn (Switzerland), Mont Blanc, Dent du Geant (France), The Rockies & The Bugaboos (Canada), Torres del Paine (Chile), among others.

I am also member of El Chaltén Search and Rescue team. I have several WFR certificates with different schools such as NOLS & Fundacion Ecomed.

I speak Spanish, English and French fluently

My biggest passion is Alpine Rock climbing & Ski Mountaineering. Get in touch with me if you are interested in discovering the unique spots in the Fitz Roy massif, and other gems around El Chaltén!
