Description

Follow me to the 4,060 meters summit of the impressive Gran Paradiso in Italy and ski all the way down on an unforgettable 3-day weekend adventure!

To begin our trip, we’ll meet in Argentiere and review the equipment. The following day, we’ll drive to Valsavarenche, via the Mont Blanc tunnel, and ascend to the Rifugio Chabod (2,710 m). Depending on the time of our arrival, we might do a schooling session on crampons and ice axe usage. On our last day, we’ll climb to the summit of the glacier, enjoy the breathtaking views from above and ski all the way down to the village. This is my proposed itinerary, but it may change depending on weather and safety conditions and participants’ abilities.

In order to take part of this trip keep in mind that you need to be an excellent skier with a very good fitness level. Previous mountaineering experience on ice and snow is also necessary.

If you would like to stay longer, we can also extend this trip to last between 4 to 6 days. Additionally, this program is also available as a private tour between the months of March and June, just let me know in your comments when you book the trip.

What are you waiting for? Just click on the request button and get ready for an unbelievable trip to the stunning Gran Paradiso!

If you are looking for more trips in the Alps, check out the ones I offer to freeride ski in Austria and climb in Switzerland.

Mountain Guide

I am in the mountains all year-round, either guiding a trip or exploring on my own. Mountain guiding is not only my profession and passion but also my inner calling. I am a qualified IFMGA mountain and ski guide.

In 2012, I established my mountaineering school "Mountains" with the motto: Quality guiding on snow, rock and ice. You can count on a low client to guide ratio, reliable gear and high quality programs led by our talented team of guides. We are not adrenaline junkies - we put safety first and strive to meet and exceed all of our clients' needs.

We take great pride in having more than 30% returning clients and would be thrilled to welcome you to our "Mountains" family during your next rock, snow or ice adventure!

Thank you! It was really fantastic! I learned a lot and will keep at it - I have to say that ice, especially mixed and dry, is almost more fun than rock. Thank you for the super week and the great hotel! See you soon!
