Half-Day Skiing with FWT Skier Yu Sasaki in Hakuba

The village of Hakuba in the Nagano Prefecture has long been a premiere ski destination. It hosted the 1998 Winter Olympics, it accommodates skiers, snowboarders, and every stripe of winter sport enthusiast. It is notorious for having light powder of the highest quality, making for some of the best runs and lines in all of Japan and the world. There are tons of reasons why this is one of my favorite places to ski.

When it comes to freeriding, I couldn’t imagine a better place than Hakuba for a perfect ski vacation. You should be an intermediate-level skier or better to participate in this trip. It is your responsibility to assess your skills and abilities to ski at a reasonable proficiency. Being in good shape is also necessary for a skiing adventure that will last about half of a day.
