Description

Situated just north of Lake Tahoe and running from California’s Sierra Nevada into the state of Nevada, the Truckee River is the perfect combination of fun, thrilling and relaxing!

Due to these factors, it is a prime spot for rafting and attracts numerous visitors every year. Join one of our local, certified guides and come see what you’ve been missing out on this whole time!

After meeting up, we’ll head out to the river and start. It’ll take us about two hours to raft the dozen or so kilometers that we will have in front of us.

Along the way, we will pass over some Class II and Class III rapids, all of which should be perfectly fine for children aged 12 and older. That makes this the perfect family-friendly adventure trip.

The rapids are only part of the allure though. We will also enjoy the stunning California scenery, with great views of the mountains and forest that surround us.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide.
