Description
One of the best spots in St. Croix for ocean views, the Ham’s Bluff Lighthouse is an amazing place to visit. And, on this half-day trek, we will take you right to the top of the iconic building.
First opened in 1915, the Ham’s Bluff Lighthouse is a proud building, rising high in St. Croix. Positioned atop coastal hills that are known as Maroons, on the island’s north shore, the building offers some exquisite views.
During this short, half-day hike, you will get to enjoy a steep, and incredibly scenic hike to the lighthouse. Once there, you will then get to gaze at the island’s north shore and west shore. You will also get to look out at the Renaissance St. Croix Carambola beach Resort, Annaly Bay and Davis Bay. You will also get to stare far out into the sea, and if the day is clear, you will even get to see other islands! Simply put, the views you will get to enjoy are nothing short of magnificent.
While the trek can be arduous at points, it is definitely worth it once you reach the lighthouse. To enjoy this wonderful adventure for yourself, just send a request. We have no doubt you will have an amazing experience.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
