Why don’t you come with me to this 2-day winter photo and snowshoeing trip in Haute Savoie? A combination of two great and fun activities in the same trip!
This amazing winter trip I am proposing you today is a fantastic opportunity to explore your artistic side and, at the same time, discover the secret places of the Val d’Arly in Haute Savoie. This valley lies between the massifs of Beaufortain, Aravis and Bauges, on the border of Savoie and Haute Savoie, in the French Alps.
During these 2 days, we’ll put our snowshoes on and let the landscape surprise us. On the way, you will find the best spots of the region and capture these moments with your camera. As a professional mountain photographer I will help you to reach the most outstanding sceneries of Haute Savoie.
They will be 2 days of pure shots and stunning paths. In addition to that, this trip takes place in small groups of participants. In that way, I can give you a more personalized photographic and technical advice and make you take the best from this snowshoe adventure.

Day 1: FIRST SHOTS IN THE VALLEY
Presentation and briefing about the expectations of the trip. I can give you some lessons of the use of your camera. We leave the starting point by snowshoes and we’ll take the first photos in a natural environment. During the photo session I will teach you how to adjust your camera and take the best pictures without the automatic mode. We can also exchange photos with the other members of the group.
Then it’s time for a picnic lunch and a break. After that, we will continue in the search of new sites in Haute Savoie.
In the afternoon, we’ll snowshoe to the mountain hut where we’ll spend the night.
Day 2: MORE SNOWSHOEING AND PICTURES
Early in the morning we’ll meet to enjoy the morning lights, taking advantage of the beautiful sunshine in the snow-capped peaks.
According to your photos of the Day 1, we can look for different landscapes.
Return to the starting point at around 16 hs and end of the program.

I'm an international mountain leader (UIMLA) working the all year round in the mountains with different types of clients. I love sharing my expertise, knowledge and passion for nature with people who wants to enjoy a good time in the mountains. We can go from 1/2 to several days together.
I will let you discover the mountains, the nature and the fauna. I particularly enjoy approaching animals, you should come and experience it with me. I'm also organizing specific hikes for photographers which allow us to see the environment and humans differently.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
