Description

Located on the eastern and Swiss side of the Mont Blanc Massif, the Trient Glacier has a 4.3 km extension. It is well-known in the area as an ideal place for heliboarding.

If you are an off-piste snowboarder or skier this is a great chance to do something different and try the experience of glacier skiing. And if you haven’t gone that far on your skiing abilities, don’t be discouraged because Trient has something for you as well!

We will go on a helicopter ride up to the top of the mountain. Once we reach up there, we can decide the best option to make our way down. Off course the different options require different levels of expertise.

Once you send your request we can talk about your expectations and preferences for this heliboarding tour in the Trient Glacier. I’ll make sure you’ll enjoy every single aspect of it.

If you are up to some extra powder snow adventure, check this backcountry skiing tour in Verbier.

Price includes

- Guiding fee

- Transportation start and back

Mountain Guide

I have been the owner of the mountain guide office since 2004. My father was a mountain guide and I grew up in the Val d’ Hérens. I live now for many years in Verbier. I graduated from the l'école hôtelière de Lausanne in 1993 and then began my mountain guide training. Well travelled I have guided through the mountains of the Andes, the Himalayas, Alaska, Turkey and Greenland. I'm also a Swiss Snow Sports graduate and a dual paragliding pilot.

Gilbert was great company and found a really cool location despite difficult conditions off piste

Olivier our guide was excellent and we would use him again. Unfortunately, we didn't do any Backcountry skiing due to the poor and dangerous conditions. I think Explore-Share should have been more proactive in keeping us informed of the conditions and the fact that it didn't allow for backcountry skiing; we forfeited a day with our guide given the conditions were so bad and the only option was to ski on piste. Further, I would have expected Explore-Share to advise us of the extra cost of the avalanche gear (an extra 600 francs) in advance.
