Are you looking for an incredible adventure in southwestern France? If so, you’ll love this half-day hiking trip in the amazing Dune du Pilat.
Located just 45 minutes away from Bordeaux is the beautiful beach resort of Arcachon. Positioned on the Atlantic Coast of France, Arcachon is home to a number of great sights and viewpoints. However, the crown jewel is definitely the Dune du Pilat. The largest sand dune in all of Europe, the Dune du Pilat is over 100 meters high and 3 kilometers long. And, on this half-day expedition, you will get to explore it in its entirety. You will get to enjoy magnificent views of the Bassin d’Arcachon tidal bay as well as the gorgeous inland pine forests.
When it comes to climbing the great dune, there is a rope banister that will help ease the ascent. Thus providing visitors with an easy means to reach the top of the great dune and provide you with all of the great views you can handle.
In order to participate on this trip, you should be in good physical condition.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
