Take a break from the cold this season! Join me on this 8-day hike along the Spanish Mediterranean Coast. I will guide you across two different areas within Andalusia, the southern-most region in Spain.

We will enjoy beautiful landscapes and the popular local gastronomy. Our days will be spent around beautiful villages, trails, mountains, sea views and tapas.

First, to begin this program I will meet you in Malaga for the first section of the tour starts. As part of this section, I will guide around Axarquía, a true Spanish mountain dream.

Second, I will guide you around Cabo de Gata, in Almeria. Here, we will appreciate the contrast between the Mediterranean seashore and the semi-desert volcanic views in the Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Nijar.

You can have a look at the detailed day-by-day itinerary below.

For this program you need a good fitness level to go up to 900 to 1,000 m at a normal pace. And while there are no technically difficult segments, you need to be used to walking in mountains and ascend and descend confidently.

Finally, you will need to carry your backpack (25 – 35 litres), and wear appropriate hiking gear. On this tour I will take groups of between 4 and 8 hikers.

NOTE: this tour is available in a shorter version. You can join me just for the first part if you’d like.
