Description

This trip in the Grand Muveran Massif is the perfect excuse to hike around a beautiful mountain with astonishing wild views of the Mont-Blanc, the Dents du Midi and Lake Geneva.

The Muveran Mountain, situated in the Bernese Alps, is one of the highest peaks in the group referred as the Muverans that reach 3000 meters high. This hike is one of the most challenging treks on the border between the cantons of Vaud and Valais, in Switzerland.

As Muveran has plenty of wonders to discover, you may join this trip for one or more days. I recommend you choose dates between June and October as the weather and terrain are great for hiking in those months.

I also offer other treks around Aravis, Dent du Midi, Matterhorn, Mont Blac.

Join me on this unique adventure. I’ll be glad to show you around Muveran and its wilderness.

Don’t miss this great opportunity to change of scenery and recharge your batteries with nature’s wonders. Request to book this trip!

Vincent

Mountain Leader

I was born in 1978, and I discovered the fascinating world of the high mountain very early, in Valais. I'm a Geographer, specialised in mountain space management in the Alpine Geographical Institute at Grenoble. I then worked for 3 years as a researcher in Geneva University, studying tourism and sustainable development in the mountain.
Always looking for large spaces, I became passionate about traveling by foot, snowshoeing or skiing in the massifs of the world. From Iceland to Patagonia, from Greenland to the Andes Range, from Poland to Ethiopia, I take pleasure in surveying these high territories. In 2007, the nomad call took me to an integral crossing of the alpine arc during 5 months, by foot and in solitary. This adventure led to a documentary film and to writing a book.
Eager to convey my passion for traveling and trekking to a varied public, I became a Hiking Guide. Other than this activity, I teach, give conferences and I am a specialised journalist.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
