Discover the stunning Atlas Mountains in Morocco on an unforgettable 3-day hiking adventure! We will show you its lovely valleys and people, its beautiful colors and unique flavor.

The High Atlas mountains are located in the heart of Morocco and are easy to access from Marrakech. The first inhabitants of these mountains were the Berbers, that still preserve their ancestral traditions and language to this day. On this 3-day adventure, we will take you to discover this unique place.

We will set off from Marrakech and drive first to Imlil, and from there we will enjoy 3-days of trekking and exploring the region. On the way, we will encounter Berber villages, a beautiful waterfall, and the stunning landscapes of the Atlas Mountains.

Keep in mind that we will hike on average a total of 3 to 4 hours a day. Therefore, you will need to be physically fit. However, this is not a demanding program, and everyone is welcome to join!

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1700 m)

Transfer by Mini Bus A / C to Imlil (1700 m) after 1h30 to 2 hours of driving passing by Tahnaout Asni. Overnight at Hôtel Les étoiles du Toubkal

Day 2: Imlil - Id Issa - Azadan valley (2800m)

The tour starts from Imlil around 8:00 am, following a small path that leads to the first Berber village, Tizi-n-Mziq, which is nestled more than 2600m above the sea. We will enjoy a cup of tea and resume our hike. After 2 hours, we will reach the waterfall of Amdi perched at almost 2700m. After, it will be time for lunch. In the afternoon, we will make a long journey while changing the course. Again, the show will be grand. After this trying day, we will arrive at ID Issa. Dinner and accommodation are on-site in a Gîte.

Day 3: Azadan Vallée - Tassa Ouirgan - Marrakech: (2800m)

After breakfast at 8:00, we will slowly start our day hike from Idissa to reach TIZIAN-N-TASA-OUIRGAGNE. There, we can see Takharkhart parade. We will have enough time to take enough pictures. From Takharkhart, we will continue on a long journey to access the Azadan Valley. A magnificent valley of Berber villages and wild trees. It’s lunchtime in the Amassame Valley. After a small break, we will continue our long journey to reach OuirganeTASA. Transfer by Mini Bus back to Marrakech.
