Description
The Forest of Fontainebleau has long been an important natural area in France. Over the years, many painters and artists have been inspired by the wide variety of trees and other beautiful landscapes found here.
Situated only 60 kilometers southeast of Paris, the Forest of Fontainebleau is easily accessible during your visit to the city. Come and explore this fantastic place on foot along with a knowledgeable local guide!
During our hike through the forest, we can visit some of the famous landmarks of Fontainebleau, such as the Croix du Calvaire and the Tour Denecourt. Along the way, we’ll discover the distinct Fontainbleau rock formations and its famous fountains. We’ll also get to see some of the beautiful local flora and fauna.
As this is a private tour, our itinerary will of course depend on the interests of your group. We can spend either a half-day or a full day hiking around the Forest of Fontainebleau.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
