Description

Situated in the Hautes Alpes department, in the French region of Provence, Queyras Regional Natural Park is a protected area that offers incredible landscapes and hiking areas. I invite you to enjoy a wonderful adventure in this park for 8 days.

On this opportunity, we’ll take the Grande Randonné trail that covers a large section of the park and will allow us to discover several attractive spots. During this 8-day activity, we’ll cross different communes and visit the local mountain huts. Furthermore, while hiking in the French Alps, I’ll teach you about the geological formation of the range and we’ll have the chance to contemplate the local flora and fauna. Please, keep in mind that this program is for experienced hikers with a very good level of fitness. As for the trip dates, you can book a group program or you can join a private tour with flexible dates.

Itinerary

Day 1: Transfer to Ceillac and preparation.

Day 2: From Ceillac to Saint-Véran (6 hours). Night in a refuge.

Day 3: From Saint-Véran to Refuge Agnel (6 hours). Night in a refuge.

Day 4: From Refuge Agnel to Abriès 6 hours). Night in a residence.

Day 5: From Abriès to Refuge des Fonts de Cervières (7 hours). Night in a cottage.

Day 6: From Fonts de Cervières to La Chalp d'Arvieux (7 hours). Night in a cottage.

Day 7: From Chalp d'Arvieux to Bramousse (6 hours). Night in a cottage.

Day 8: From Bramousse to Ceillac (6 hours). Return to Switzerland.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge.
