Come with me on this ski touring program and learn about this activity while you explore the stunning Swiss Alps.
I invite you to discover the fantastic world of ski touring while you admire the beauty of the Swiss Alps. This amazing alpine region offers the perfect terrain to practice and enjoy this fun winter sport.
On this course, we’ll concentrate on the use of basic ski touring equipment. I’ll teach you about security and balance on skis as well as how to walk with skins.
The purpose of the course is to provide you with the independence and confidence necessary to take part in future ski touring programs. By the end of the course, you’ll have acquired experience on the snow and be ready for more adventures.
Keep in mind that we’ll spend around 3 hours on the ascent. Therefore, it is very important to be physically fit to join this course.

I had am amazing time during the 1-day off-piste training course at Hoch-Ybrig. Urs, our main mountain guide, was very helpful in answering my queries before the course, and Lupe from explore-share was helpful in selecting the course. We had 3 groups under Urs, Mario and Patrick, and I was in the group with Patrick. He gave us a lot of nice tips and individualized video analysis. He made a special effort to convey everything in English, since I don't know German. All the participants were very helpful and friendly too! The course is good value for money as skis are included for the weekend in the course price.
