Las Peñas de Dexcaní is an hour from the outskirts of Mexico City and an easy ninety-minute drive south of Queretaro City. This world-class climbing location is home to the most classic hard routes in Central México as well as a multitude of gorgeous moderates. In this stunning location, we teach Introduction to the Outdoors(Sport), Learn to Lead, as well as preparation courses to tackle big wall climbing. We will show you all the best routes for whatever grade your group is comfortable climbing.
Peñas de Dexcaní resulted from a volcano eruption that formed beautiful cliffs on the side of a mountain in the middle of the oak tree reserve. As you can imagine, the views alone make the Peñas worth the visit. Furthermore, there are routes to satisfy climbers of all levels, and we will design the itinerary to make sure the route is suited to you.
Jilotepec is just a drive away from the cliffs, and a great town to spend the night in as there are great restaurants and accommodation options. This means you are also welcome to join us on longer climbing adventures if you wish to stay in the area. Just let us know your objectives and we will tailor the program to you.

Definitely the best outdoor company for rock climbing in Mexico! Guided by one of the best guides, with a lot of experience to give! I was climbing with Simeon some days ago in Jilotepec, and in Aculco. He is a great guy, excellent guide, a great person, and a fancy cooker!
