Description

Would you like to get away from the daily hectic routine? Then join this day-hike to  Lone Star Geyser and fall in love with the beautiful Yellowstone National Park!

The incredible Yellowstone is the world’s first national park. It's located in the states of Wyoming, Montana and Idaho and covers 2.2 million acres. It is home to amazing waterfalls, geysers, forests and wildlife, such as bears, bison, elks and wolves.

On this hike, we'll head to the largest backcountry geyser in the park. Lone Star Geyser is located in a clearing surrounded by a dense forest. It erupts every three hours and ejects water up to 40 feet in the air! The hike will also allow us to enjoy Firehole River and Kepler Cascades.

Our excursion will cover 9 kilometers in 5-7 hours. There's minimal elevation gain, but it is important that you are in strong health and carry out regular exercise before coming to this trip. Also, make sure to bring hiking footwear, a waterproof rain jacket or poncho, a fleece top, warm hat and gloves, water bottles, a sun hat, sunglasses and sunscreen.

Are ready for a unique hiking day in Yellowstone National park? Then send your request! Nature is waiting for you.

There are many options to discover Yellowstone National Park, in every season. We offer an ice climbing course, a 5-day snowshoeing tour, a rafting adventure and so many others.

Guide cancelled within 48 hrs and I was unable to find someone else and so far I’ve not been refunded. Put a small dent in my otherwise great trip to Revelstoke.

Guide was very experienced and very patient with us. We learned alot and he tried to fit in all the knowledge he could in one day, super awesome. A little tough going back and forth to get the trip set up hard to tell if the site is sketchy until you see reviews but all worked out. Ended up with an awesome day with an awesome guide. Overall pretty satisfied and thankful!

Nate was very knowledgeable and got me to the top of mountain. He’s not as engaging as most of the guides I’ve had over the years. I’ve learned a lot about most of my climbs as guides talk about the mountain and the area maybe even plant and animals and I enjoy getting to know them better. We did talk a bit more on the way out of the trailhead. All in all a good experience. But not sure your company told him I had a knee replacement and would be slow.
