Description
The Lower Dolpo Trek is remote and rugged and invites you to explore the beautiful western region of Nepal. Join us on this 18-day adventure and prepare yourself for an experience you will never forget!
The focal point of our trek will be the Shey-Phoksundo National park. This awe-inspiring place is considered to be one of the most scenic parks in the world, and you will understand why when you catch sight of the intense turquoise Phoksundo Lake and Nepal’s highest waterfall! We will also enjoy the wildlife and amazing vegetation as we explore this magical region.
We will set off from Kathmandu, from where we will fly to Nepalganj and then to Juphal. Then, over the course of the next two weeks, we will trek around the region and discover something new every day. Of course, we will be there at all times to help and guide you!

- INCLUDED:
- All the ground transportation by private tourist vehicles.
- Flight fare from Kathmandu – Nepalgunj– Juphal – Nepalgunj Kathmandu including airport departure taxes.
- Full board meal 3 times a day during the trekking.
- Tea house and Tented accommodation and equipment during the camping trek. (We will provide two man tents, dinning tents, kitchen gear, dining table, chairs, toilet tents, shower tent.)
- Deluxe hotel in Kathmandu accommodation as per the itinerary with breakfast.
- Comfortable private vehicle as per itinerary.
- Professional tour guide on day trip in Kathmandu.
- Monuments entrance fees in Kathmandu city tour.
- Government licensed English speaking Guide and Porters to carry your luggage during the trek (1 porter Between 2 Person basis), their food, accommodation, salary, insurance, equipments, and medicine.
- Travel & Rescue arrangement.
- Special Dolpo Trekking Permit .
- All necessary paperwork.
- Trekker's Information Management System (TIMS) card fees.
- First aid medical kit.
- Duffle bag, down jacket, sleeping bag and walking pole if necessary.
- Farewell dinner in a typical Nepali Restaurant with a cultural dance show.

- NOT INCLUDED:
- International Flight, Airport tax and Nepal Visa fee.
- Major meals in Cities (Kathmandu).
- All personal expenses such as bar bills, water, tea/coffee, snacks, shower, battery recharge laundry charge, etc.
- Personal clothing and gears, sleeping bag and Down jacket for a trek.
- Tipping (expected by guides and porters, but not mandatory).
- Cost raised by flight cancelation, emergency rescue charges, landslide, weather, political unrest, illness, rerouting, etc. which are not under our control.

Day 3: Hanke Check Post
Trek to Hanke Check Post, overnight at tented camp
Day 4: Sumdo
Trek to Sumdo, overnight at tented camp
Day 5: Shey - Phoksundo Lake
Trek to Shey – Phoksundo Lake, overnight at tented camp
Day 6: Rest day
Rest at Shey – Phoksundi Lake, overnight at tented camp
Day 7: Baga La Base Camp
Trek to Baga La Base Camp, overnight at tented camp
Day 8: Numa La Base Camp
Trek to Numa La Base Camp after crossing Baga La Pass, overnight at tented camp
Day 9: Kakar Gompa
