Maglia canyon 1 day guided tour

The Maglia Canyon offers many amazing things. The endless waterfalls we’ll trek through, will give us a very unique feeling of constant refreshment. And the underground passages we’ll cross, will make us feel like adventurers discovering wild terrains. Moreover the narrow walls we’ll get through, will allow us to find new unexpected spots.

This magnificent canyon is located in the Breil-sur-Roya, a french commune in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region. Breil-sur-Roya is an amazingly gorgeous place, but the beauty of the canyon makes it a true paradise.

A dazzling river with pristine deep waters crosses the Maglia canyon. And it has a very pleasant stream, only interrupted by spots that will inject us with the right dosage of adrenaline! Here, we’ll enjoy thrilling slides and wonderful jumps. Also, we’ll get to soak in some of the most mesmerizing natural swimming pools. And we’ll enjoy the most fun rappelling, once we’ll even do it under a waterfall inside of a cave!

Our descent will take approximately 4 hours. We’ll distribute all the gear at the parking lot. And we’ll proceed towards the canyon. A very short walk of around 10 minutes will take us to the entrance of the canyon. And, we’ll take a lunch break, enjoying a tasty picnic at the exit of the canyon.

Please note that in order to join this trip you need to know how to swim. But it is not necessary to have previous experience with ropes or descents. I will make sure I teach you everything you need to know and guide you through all the process.
