Join me on this adventure as we travel to two hidden gems in the north of Italy. From the town of Bevera, we make our way to both the canyon of Rio Grognardo and Argentina, in an action packed day.

The area of Grognardo is made up of 4 abseils of 12 meters’ height, as well as some jumps. The end part consists of a very narrow passage in a gorge. A 25-minute trek will take us to the canyon, with the descent taking 1.5 hours.

The canyon of Argentina can be reached within 10 minutes of walking. This area is characterized by numerous jumps, ranging from 4 to 12 meters. The surrounding area is punctuated with beautiful landscapes and oversized basins, allowing us to reach the confluence of the canyon. From here the descent takes approximately 2 hours.

With the day at an end, and all activities finished, returning to the parking lot takes only 15 minutes.

This day of activities is suitable for people aged 12 years old and above.

The level is quite difficult, and it is compulsory to know how to swim.

**Enjoy a memorable day of adventure when you and your family join this canyoning trip in the beautiful Mediterranean landscape of Northwestern Italy!**

The sport of canyoning involves descending down canyons using techniques from jumping, to rappelling, to sliding.  However, this activity is not just for professional daredevils.  In fact, with our knowledgeable and professional canyoning guides, you and your family can enjoy a fun day of outdoor adventure too.

We will explore the Audin Canyon, accessible from the city of Nice, France.  It is completely suitable for beginning canyoneers with no previous experience, including children 8 years and older.  The only requirement is that you know how to swim! During this day trip, you will have the adrenaline filled opportunity to slide down natural toboggans that are carved into the rock, make jumps of up to 8 meters, and swim in picturesque natural pools.  Plus, the Mediterranean landscape around our canyoning site is truly lovely, filled with juniper, olive, and fig trees.

On the day of our adventure, we will meet at 9:30 AM in the parking lot of the canyoning area (direction will be provided for those coming by car).  All canyoning equipment will be provided, but participants should bring sportswear, swimwear, and water shoes. The program will end in the afternoon at around 3PM.  If you also wish to find nearby accommodation for the night prior to the trip, feel free to ask, as we can help.

The commune of Breil-sur-Roya bustles with clear waters and stunning scenery, with a number of canyons dotted across the region.

The first day we head to the Carleva Canyon, which is loaded with tobogganing, ranging from 4 meters to 13 meters, and jumps from 2 meters to 10 meters. This day is around 4 hours long, with a quick 15-minute walk back to the beginning.

On the second day we travel to the Maglia Canyon, one of the most beautiful canyons in Europe. This area offers a range of activities. We will do jumps, toboggans and even abseil along a passage in a cave. This day is also approximately 4 hours long with a 20-minute walk to the beginning.

The level of the trip is difficult. Therefore it requires a good physical condition. And with much of the activity being in and around water, it is necessary to know how to swim. However, you don’t need to know the technical aspects of all activities, as I will be here to teach you.

Children from the ages of 12 years old and above can be admitted.

**Challenge yourself with this guided canyoning adventure, in which you will explore the longest canyon in Europe over the course of 2 adrenaline filled days!**

Bendola Canyon, located in Southern France near the border with Italy, is the longest canyon in Europe, boasting 15km of length and 1,500 meters of vertical drop.  It is a setting so grand and awe-inspiring that  you cannot help but be impressed by the scale and beauty of the landscape.  Plus, these incredible dimensions make for some of the best canyoning conditions in Europe.

The route is spectacular, yet tough.  Your endurance will be tested as you are guided through 35 rappels, with little or no water.  Thus, for this program, solid abseiling technique and a high level of physical fitness are required.  Strong swimming skills are also mandatory, and there are opportunities for swimming along the way.  After a full day of adventure, we will spend a tranquil night sleeping under the stars, as we bivouac in the wilderness during this trip.

On Day 1 of this program, we will depart at 5am from the village of Breil sur Roya.  The village is accessible by train or flight from Nice, and, upon request, we are happy to help you arrange accommodation the night before the trip.  Transportation will be provided between the village and the entry and point of the canyon, but is not included back to the village at the end of the trip.  Rental canyoneering equipment is included, as are breakfast, picnics, and dinner while we are in the canyoning but drinks are not included.  Participants should bring their own sleeping bag and blanket for the night spent in a bivouac.

We depart from Breil sur Roya at 5AM.  We will take a series of vehicle transfers to Fontan.  Then, we follow a trail for 10 minutes that leads us to the canyon.

We descend the canyon for the next 10 hours, arriving at our bivouac site around 6PM.

Day 1

After a restful night under the stars, we continue descending the canyon for 6 hours, before wrapping up the program.

Day 2

We will meet in the village of Breil sur Roya.

Join me for this canyoning day trip in the **Carleva Canyon**. Let me guide you through its **intriguing caves**, **pristine water** and **waterfalls**. And discover this wonderful place in a very unique way.

The **Carleva Canyon** is a dazzling place that offers everything any adventurer could ask for. It is very close to the **Maglia canyon**, in the **Breil-sur-Roya**. The **Breil-sur-Roya** is gorgeous french commune located in the **Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region**. And it is directly accessible from the town of **Breil**.  

During our **5 to 6 hours** of descent, we’ll explore many amazing spots. And we’ll get to swim in the most **transparent and refreshing water**. We’ll also trek through narrow passages that will lead us to **unexpected majestic waterfalls** that separate the **basins**.

Also we’ll get to admire some of the **biggest basins** in the area. Moreover, the **large size of the basins** will allow us to perform **countless jumps** and enjoy **thrilling slides**.

From the parking lot we will distribute all the gear and get ready for the descent. Then, we will take a walk of approximately **550 meters**. So it will take us around **1h45** to reach the entrance of the canyon. But the return will be an easier trek of only **15 minutes back to Breil**. As for the meals, we’ll have a **delicious picnic in the canyon**, surrounded by the most beautiful views.

**You don’t need to have previous experience with ropes and climbing techniques** to participate. I will make sure I teach you everything you need to know, and that you are safe the whole time. However **it is compulsory to know how to swim**.

The **Maglia Canyon** offers many amazing things. The **endless waterfalls** we’ll trek through, will give us a very unique feeling of constant refreshment. And the **underground passages** we’ll cross, will make us feel like adventurers discovering wild terrains. Moreover the **narrow walls** we’ll get through, will allow us to find new unexpected spots.

This **magnificent canyon** is located in the **Breil-sur-Roya**, a french commune in the **Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur** region. **Breil-sur-Roya** is an amazingly gorgeous place, but the beauty of the canyon makes it a true paradise.

A **dazzling river** with pristine deep waters crosses the **Maglia canyon**. And it has a very pleasant stream, only interrupted by spots that will inject us with the **right dosage of adrenaline**! Here, we’ll enjoy **thrilling slides** and **wonderful jumps**. Also, we’ll get to soak in some of the most **mesmerizing natural swimming pools**. And we’ll enjoy the most fun **rappelling**, once we’ll even do it **under a waterfall inside of a cave**!

**Our descent will take approximately 4 hours**. We’ll distribute all the gear at the parking lot. And we’ll proceed towards the canyon. A very short walk of around **10 minutes** will take us to the **entrance of the canyon**. And, we’ll take a lunch break, enjoying a **tasty picnic at the exit of the canyon**.

Please note that in order to join this trip **you need to know how to swim**. But **it is not necessary to have previous experience with ropes or descents**. I will make sure I teach you everything you need to know and guide you through all the process.

Enjoy the sensational scenes of the Morghe Canyon, with slides, jumps, swimming and abseiling. There is plenty of activity in what is known as one of Europe’s most beautiful canyons.

Once in the river Maglia, we continue with a range of activities: slides, jumps, swimming and abseiling, including one under a lovely waterfall flowing through a cave. This descent will take around 4 hours.

At the end of the activities it will take only 20 minutes to walk back to the exit of the canyon, where there is a picnic area waiting for you.

The level of this trip is difficult, and so requires a good amount of fitness. However, it is not necessary to know about roping techniques, as I am here to facilitate this.

Because we are completing activities in and around water, it is compulsory to know how to swim.

This one-week adventure takes you to some of the most beautiful canyons in Europe, and challenges you to some adrenaline-fueled activities.

Slide and swim in the crystal-clear waters of Carleva Wild Canyon, visit the Valley of Wonders, home to the largest site of rock engravings in Europe, and rappel down the rock face of a cave in La Maglia Canyon, one of Europe most beautiful.

Enjoy a lovely picnic in between activities surrounded by the beautiful canyon scenery.

Due to the variety of activities involved in this one-week trip, it is important to be in good physical condition. And because that the week centers around water, it is necessary to know how to swim. However, it is not necessary for you to know the technical aspects of all the activities planned for the week. I will be here to how and guide you how to use them correctly.

Begin

Leaving at 9am we make a 40-minute hike which takes us to the canyon entrance. After a picnic in the canyon, we have a 4-hour descent with jumps (max 10m), rappels from 4 to 19 meters, slides from 4 to 13 meters and a swim in the bays.

Special Waterslides at Carleva Wild Canyon

Leaving at 8am we reach the lake of Mesce. We enter the forbidden areas of the largest site of rock engravings in Europe between lakes and herds of chamois.

Alternatively you can do the via ferrata, which is difficult, above the village of Tende. Or there are ziplines and a monkey bridge. Children admitted from 12 years old.

The Mercantour National Park and the Valley of Wonders

After a 1-hour car ride, we hike 15 minutes to reach the entrance. We enjoy activities such as swimming and jumping, ranging from 4 to 10 meters. Afterwards we have a picnic in the canyon.

Canyoning Grognardo and Argentina

Today is a half day of activities: you can either do rafting in 2 areas, or enjoy the accrobranche for some treetop adventure.

Rafting on the Roya

Here there are jumps (max 7m), slides (max 10m), rappels (max 12m) and a passage in a cave. Afterwards we have a picnic back at the edge of the Roya.

La Maglia Canyon
