Description

This 17-day trek around the Manaslu Circuit in Nepal has been taking peoples breath away for years, and I will guide you as we see and experience the best this region has to offer, from the myriad of forests, rivers, glaciers, fields and waterfalls that surround us, to the traditional villages and communities of the local people, and of course the towering and majestic mountain of Manaslu itself.

The mountain of Manaslu, located in the Nepalese Himalayas, stands at 8,163m tall, making it the eighth-highest mountain in the world. It is an immensely popular trekking and mountaineering spot, with many keen to tick it off their bucket-list.

We begin our trip in Kathmandu, where we spend the first 2 days sightseeing and preparing for the trip.

Over the subsequent 15 days there will be plentiful hiking and cultural experiences, with an action-packed agenda every day.

Some of the highlights include traipsing and travailing around the mighty Budhi Gandaki River, the Larkya La Pass, a large number of impressive glaciers, and several excellent vantage points of Manaslu.

There will be plenty of time to learn about, discover and explore the local Gurung culture of the people that inhabit this area, with many villages, communities and monasteries littering the landscape, each with a rich, fascinating and interesting history.

The landscape, scenery and terrain that we encounter in Nepal consistently manages to make jaws drop, and it will seem like everywhere we look there is a magnificent or lovely piece of raw natural beauty to admire.

We finish our trip back in Kathmandu, hopefully with heads full of superb memories and hearts full of love for this incredible place.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice. On the day head to take another group but he quickly arranged another guide Borut, who was brilliant. We had a fantastic morning learning via ferrata at Hvadnik in the gorge. It gave us the confidence to later hire our own equipment and go out in Mojstrana. Altogether a five star + experience. Thank you.
