Description

On this mindful trekking, I invite you to enjoy hiking in the wilderness in a different way. Follow me on this program and spend as many days as you would like in touch with yourself and your surroundings as you explore the stunning Sierra Nevada in Spain.

Mindfulness is a wonderful practice that helps us to know ourselves better and develop concentration and observation skills. What better way to develop this technique than in combination with physical activity in a relaxing natural area?

Our purpose is to take advantage of outdoor activities to connect with ourselves, with nature and to practice deep awareness as we explore a natural environment. This way of practicing trekking will enhance all of its benefits.

On this hiking adventure, we’ll practice mindfulness exercises, meditation and nature interpretation, among other activities. Part of the process of this mindful trekking will include paying attention to the effort we make, the beautiful surroundings and the weather, as well as overcoming difficulties and sharing the experience with others.

As for the itinerary, we can suggest some options, such as La Alpujarra and the Sierra Nevada National Park. However, we’ll adapt the hikes according to the participant’s wishes and preferences. We can offer a wide variety of options! The extension of the hike will depend on you. Also, you’ll decide how many days you want this experience to last.

I am based in Granada, Andalucia. I am passionate about mountains and I specially enjoy guiding in the Sierra Nevada National Park, where I have forged myself as a mountain guide. I am an UIMLA-certified Mountain Leader and a Sports Technician in Middle Mountain. I am also a member of the Spanish Mountain Guides Association (AEGM).

I offer you the possibility of enjoying the mountains in a safe way and learning about the natural environment, while discovering unique locations in southern Spain.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
