Description

Sometimes it can be difficult as a beginner to participate in winter sports like off-piste skiing and splitboarding. You see those big, beautiful slopes and you want to enjoy them, but without the necessary experience and proper practice, you have to be careful where you go. That is why I am happy to offer this beginner levelday long splitboarding tour in the Mondeval valley.

The Mondeval valley is a spectacular plateau located in the Dolomites, in the Alps of Italy. It is surrounded by several huge rock walls. They include the Corvo Alto, Mount Formin, the Col Duro and the Becco di Mezzodi.

On this trip, you will get to enjoy all of the advantages of splitboarding through the sensational Dolomites. But you will get to do it on slopes that aren’t too large and difficult for a beginner.

And because the Mondeval valley represents such an enormous skiing area, there is no shortage of great spots for a beginner to enjoy. Some examples include Cinque Torri, Pocol – Tofana, Faloria and Cristallo.

Within those areas I will also instruct you throughout the day, and offer plenty of helpful tips on techniques. Hence making the day not only enjoyable, but educational as well.

If you are just starting out in the world of splitboarding, but you still want to enjoy the beauty and excitement of a place like the Dolomites, then send me a request. The Mondeval valley is the perfect place for you. And I would be happy to guide you through it.

Are you looking for something a little more challenging? Then join me on this day long snowboarding trip in the Sella Group.

Mountain Guide

I started my career as an aerospace engineer, my first passion and then became a full-time IFMGA mountain guide, my second passion, since 2013. Working as a mountain guide gratifies me a lot. I enjoy very much transmitting my knowledge about the mountains and its activities to my friends and clients.

I’m based in the Dolomites where I have climbed most of the mountain surroundings us here, including “Via attraverso il Pesce” in Marmolada and “Captain sky-hook” in Civetta. I also enjoy a lot guiding in the rest of the Alps, ice climbing, ski touring, freeride skiing, rock climbing and mountaineering.

Feel free to contact me if you want to live a great adventure in the Dolomites or anywhere else in the Alps, during the winter or the summer. It will be a great pleasure for me to guide you and allow you to reach your goal. I work with other mountain guides in the Veneto area, such as Filippo, Massimo, and my brother Daniele. If I am unavailable on the date you are interested in coming climbing, skiing, or engaging in other activities with me, I can connect you with one of them.

The tour was amazing, the place is absolutely beautiful and Enrico was a great guide! The snow conditions were not the best (one cannot control the weather!) but Enrico guided us well through it and gave a lot of important tips on how to skin up on varying conditions, and always alerted of of what to expect ahead. He was very patient with our relatively slow pace and we still managed to do a lot in the day we had! I can definetly recomend this tour for those who are starting in splitboarding/skitouring - the right level of challenge without beeing too hard! And Enrico is a great guide, professional, patient and also a fun person to be around and chat! I hope to make another tour or maybe climb with him on the next time I'm in the Dolomites!
