Description

The highest peak in all of Europe, Mount Elbrus (5,642m) is one of the world’s most impressive mountains.

Located in the Russian Federation, a flight away from Moscow, there is a feeling that you are in a different world when you visit Mount Elbrus. And for 12 days, I would like to guide you on a splitboarding tour to the top of this mighty mountain.

Since Mount Elbrus is such an enormous mountain, acclimatization is crucial. As a result, we will not immediately start our ascent of this mountain. Instead, we will take an acclimatization hike to the Buruntash pass (3,080) on the fourth day, we will splitboard to the top of Mount Tashlysyrt (3,465m) on the fifth day, hike to base camp (3,800m) on the sixth day and take a trip to the Lenz rocks (4,800m) on the eighth day. After these acclimatization days we will take a rest day, and you will be primed for the journey to the summit of Mount Elbrus on the ninth day of the trip.

While this trip is physically demanding, it is actually not as technically difficult as one might think. As a result, you do not require expert level prior experience, but you should be in good physical condition.

Filled with fantastic views, exciting splitboarding descents and scenic hikes, this 12 day adventure is just that, an adventure. To experience it for yourself, just send me a request. I look forward to guiding you.
