The Pyrenees offer an endless number of hikes and treks. Mount Montardo hiking trip is probably one of the most spectacular!

Due to its majestic scenery and location, Mount Montardo (2833 m) is one of the most popular ascents in Val d’Aran. And despite its rough aspect when seen from below, it’s a fairly easy ascent. From Arties it takes around 8 hours to climb the 1200 vertical meters of its south face.

So I offer you a nice day out, hiking up to reach a place with a unique view. But not everything is about getting to the summit. I’ll guide you through this mountain in a way that will allow you to enjoy the journey all along.

Moreover, Val d’Aran has many peaks worth climbing. So if you wish to attempt another one, here are some more options in the area: Aneto (3404 m), Besiberri (3015 m) and Mulleres (3010 m). But there are many other possibilities so don’t hesitate to ask.

In conclusion, I want you to share with you the beautiful feeling of becoming part of nature and admiring it from a privileged point of view. That’s what I feel when I walk through these paths.
