Paklenica National Park offers a vast variety of routes on prime quality limestone. In fact, it’s known as one of Europe’s top climbing areas.

Rising above the Adriatic sea, on the peaks of the Velebit Mountains, this region of deep gorges is a rock climbing paradise both for beginners and experienced climbers. I propose to go there on a 1-day or 2-day trip.

There are over 340 routes, from few hours/half a day scrambles to whole day technical and steep climbing.

This is an all-year-round destination with a quite nice and warm weather (except when strong Bora wind is blowing). However, the best conditions are from March to May and from September to November.

Multi-pitch sport climbing in Paklenica is a great combination of an exciting outdoor activity with a relaxed seaside vacation. Besides, even if you’re not an expert climber you’ll find routes according to your skill and fitness.

Would you like to join this 1 or 2-day climbing trip in this top-notch climbing area in Croatia? Send a request so we can start planning this trip together!

    About the Guide

I was born in Ljubljana in 1988 and began climbing during high school. In 2010, I became a climbing instructor, after years of spending my free time on the walls of the Alps, both in Slovenia and abroad. I studied Geography at university, but mountaineering, climbing and now mountain guiding have always been my main occupation. I've received multiple awards, including the Piolet D'Or. I'm a fully certified IFMGA guide.
