Description

Bring along your whole family and enjoy a fun and didactic nature scavenger hunt, around the verdant countryside of the beautiful town of Gruyeres, in the canton of Fribourg.

This exciting game is based on a survival course in the wild and it’s all about finding food in a natural environment. Participants must make a choice at each post, that may cost (virtually) the life of one or more players. If you pass the test, with or without loss, you get the indications to find the next post.

This fun and didactic scavenger hunt allows to tackle several topics such as map reading/orientation, botany, geology, wildlife, alpine economics, mountain sociology and creativity.It is a great way to discover and explore by playing and having fun.

In addition to arrange the logistics and take care of your safety throughout the activity, my role as a guide will be to bring the correctives and/or explanations after you make a choice during the game, so that everyone can learn and discover some unknown or little known aspects of our rich alpine Gruyerian heritage.

Thank you explore-share for a wonderful via feratta experience. We have been wanting to learn for a long time but don't have the facilities in Scotland. The guide Mitja was extremely helpful and knowledgeable, answering all my many questions and providing advice.
